In 1921, The Art Institute’s system of schools began. Today, there are over 35 locations across America providing exemplary education to students looking for a career in the creative arts. In 2000, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh launched it’s fully online degree college that provided students the ability to obtain a college education in over 14 degree programs areas. With a 100% asynchronous format, there are no scheduled class times, so our online students have true freedom and convenience to set their school schedules. You can listen to recorded lectures, watch video or animations, access assignments, visit the online library or chat with professors or students in forums, day or night.The Art Institute Online recognizes the importance of providing a personalized learning environment that gives individualized attention to students. For this reason, AIO’s classes generally have less than 15 students and the professors are equipped with the skills and expertise to support adult-learner success.
